SOLVE places high priority on protecting your privacy. Our site is intended to serve as a tool to inform you about our work, and to provide the means for individuals to take action to help preserve this treasure called Oregon.

In the course of providing this online service, we may ask you to list your name, address, and other information. We use this information for purposes related to SOLVE, its projects and activities. We do not sell our lists for commercial marketing nor share our lists with other organizations. However, when partnering with other agencies, organizations, or groups there may be a need to share the contact information of volunteers for a particular event. This information will only be shared for the purpose of enhancing and streamlining communication with volunteers around that event. When this occurs all partners will receive the following statement along with the contact information: “By accepting this information, you agree to only use it for the purposes of project planning and implementation”.

Users who sign up for our e-mail lists will receive online communications from us. Except as outlined above we will not share e-mail addresses with other organizations. You may choose to cancel your subscription at any time.

If you donate to SOLVE online, your donor information will be handled through our secure online server at Opus Interactive. Secure Sockets Layers (SSL) technology encrypts your information to avoid decoding of information by anyone other than SOLVE. To check the security of your connection, look at the bottom of your browser window after accessing the server. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending upon your browser), then SSL is active. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https."

Only SOLVE’s financial manager will have access to your credit card information. Documentation for accounting purposes will be kept safe and secure. Upon receipt of your gift, you will receive our regular donor communications. You may choose to cancel this benefit at any time.

In order to best serve our web site visitors, we automatically collect and store certain information about your visit, such as the type of browser and operating system used to access our site, the date and time of access to our site and the pages visited. We do not track or record information about individuals and their visits.
