Every successful project begins with a vision and effective planning. SOLVE equips Event Coordinators with project planning assistance to assure that your event is the best it can be and will achieve your project goals.

After you apply for SOLVE project planning assistance and your project is approved, SOLVE will provide the link to an electronic Project Handbook. The handbook is designed as a comprehensive step-by- step template for planning a community volunteer event. It also provides resources for working with volunteers on environmental projects.

Keep in mind that each volunteer event is different; some topics may be more or less relevant depending on whether your project is small or large, rural or urban, and closed or open to the public. Topics are based on a generic project planning timeline that SOLVE has built through its many years of organizing community volunteer events.
